NUVOST HIGH PROTEIN is a versatile protein supplement to support your active lifestyle and training goals.

Scientifically formulated to be high in protein for muscle recovery*, MUSASHI HIGH PROTEIN contains quality protein sources in a delicious tasting shake. Combining instantised Whey Protein Concentrate, Whey Protein Isolate and Milk Protein Solids, each serve delivers 30 grams of quality protein to help reach your training goals.

NUVOST HIGH PROTEIN can be used as a post-exercise shake to support your recovery or used during the day as a protein top up.

Directions

HOW - Add 45g (1 ½ levelled scoop) to 300mL of Skim Milk or water in a cup or Nuvost shaker and mix until dissolved. Consume immediately.

WHEN-

PRE & POST-TRAINING - Use 60-90 minutes prior to exercise or within 30 minutes after resistance training.

SERVINGS - Recommended one-day intake - up to 3 serves.

Whey Protein Concentrate (WPC)

Whey protein concentrate is a type of dietary supplement derived from whey, the liquid portion of milk that separates during cheese production.   • Other Nutrients: Contains more of the beneficial nutrients found naturally in whole whey protein. This includes lactose, fats, and various immunoglobulins (antibodies) which can have their own health benefits.
  • Digestibility: Generally easy to digest unless one is lactose intolerant. The lactose content in WPC can sometimes cause digestive issues for those who are sensitive.
  • Taste & Texture: It tends to have a creamier texture and more neutral taste due to its fat and lactose content.
  • Complete Protein: Both WPC and WPI are considered complete proteins, meaning they contain all nine essential amino acids.
  • BCAAs: WPC is rich in branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs) which are crucial for muscle growth and recovery.

Whey Protein Isolate (WPI)

Whey Protein Isolate is a high-protein, filtered milk product containing very little lactose, fats, and carbohydrates. It is manufactured from cheese whey. It is a complete protein containing all 20 amino acids. It has a higher concentration of amino acids and less calories than WPC.

  • Protein Content: Contains a higher protein content than WPC, usually around 90% or higher. It undergoes additional processing to remove most of the fat and lactose.
  • Other Nutrients: The additional filtration process reduces the amount of beneficial nutrients found in WPI compared to WPC.
  • Digestibility: More suitable for those who are lactose intolerant or have sensitive stomachs, as it contains lower levels of fat and lactose.
  • Taste & Texture: Might have a slightly different texture and taste due to the reduced fat and lactose content. Some users find it to be slightly more watery or less creamy.
